For British American Tobacco Austria, we implemented a nationwide long-term sales promotion for maximum sell-out with more than 2,000 deployment days. The aim here is to offer tailored, appealing and striking product presentation for end consumers in tobacconist stores, which distinguishes the brand from the competition.
A 15-person team of POS specialists works on a daily basis in Austria. The Active Sellers are specially trained in the BAT product range, supporting product launches, disseminating POS material, and offering product sales and customer advice directly at the promotional stand. The market launch of new products is supported with a strong communication strategy.
Alongside around 100,000 POS visitors, our successes included the development of around 2,000 distribution outlets throughout Austria, as well as the build-up of a comprehensive partner database and the successful implementation of various partner programs.
